Ok so this isn’t advertising; it’s live sports production. Live broadcast into VR headsets.
Which was wild.
Remember when sports got cancelled cause of that global pandemic? Me too. I also remember when NBA Commissioner Adam Silver decided to build an isolation basketball bubble to bring games back.
We created, designed and produced an entire run of show for the live game NBA VR broadcasts to be viewed inside Oculus VR Headsets - placing the viewer as if they were actually in the stands. Side note: we had to cut out every single player in the NBA form a background because they didn’t have files without a BG baked in. That was fun….
The whole broadcast package for games included: creating and designing all the on screen elements to working with the on-air commentators Richard Jefferson and Adam Amin as announcers, and since we had no VR content for commercial breaks; we designed in-game trivia and entertainment segments to keep fans engaged. It was a dream. And yes, a bunch of the players snuck out of the bubble to go to strip clubs, and we saw the footage to prove it.
